We loved this deli! Lots of options, but so good! You won't go wrong with these subs and sides. I got the Godzilla half with tomato & cucumber salad (that had A LOT of vinegar in it, but was still good). My husband got Throgs Neck Bridge half and pasta salad - both wonderful!

Way overpriced. 2 - 12" subs $24.00. I was very disappointed in the price compared to the amount of meat that was there. The taste was ok- but not a $12 sandwich.

The food here is outstanding. BUT - the service is terrible. The staff appear to be poorly trained, are unaware of their own menu and are just simply incompetent. More importantly, if you order their salads, you never know what your are going to receive. I've visited this store 6 times, and never once had a salad prepared the same way twice.

I was so disappointed that I was actually embarrassed to say I am FROM the NY deli history/background. The menu is great; so much to choose from, but when you see the prices and the amount of food you get for those prices, it is sinful. HALF roast beef on rye $7.59 (or something to that effect), more bread than meat. Small ball (less than 1/4 lb) in the middle of the bread. Small amount of thinly sliced shredded lettuce, super thin tomato (one slice)...that's it for $7.+ My son had a full hero (or sub, as you say here in FLA)..bread was OK, but we NY-ers pride our sandwiches on the crispy bread - turkey, provolone with lettuce and tomato. Turkey was tasty. Side of mac salad and a drink = $13.59 ! ! ! YUP for a $5.00 footlong sandwich. Except for the taste of the meat, it was no better than the Subway footlongs you get for $5.00. I will not be back. This place will never make it in Port Orange, more than 8-10 months. Sorry guys, but either change your prices or make it a TRUE New York Hero shop. In NSB @ the Edgewater city line - we have a new NY restaurant: Chill-E- Hot Dogs & More. Come down; see his meals and his prices....learn a thing or three !

Clean atmosphere. Had the Reuben, it was great! Corned beef was very tender, and marble rye was fantastic. Chicken tortilla soup had no chips but they did have crackers. Deli salads were very tasty.

Have been there twice....its all a bit confusing! First...at which end of the long wall does the line start? Do you place your order at the first register...or the second one. Secondly...it took 3 of us 20 minutes to place our orders because the young man at the register had no clue as to what he was doing...i had to repeat my order 3 times...and it still came out wrong. Advise to the Owners....put up directional sign, (place order here), and only place well trained employees at the registers.

This deli just opened in the BJ's shopping center (used to be Orange Leaf Fro Yo's space). It was really busy, loud, hectic. I'd recommend getting a take-out menu or looking for a menu online before you get there, because the menu is vast and a bit confusing. There are so many choices, and things come in "half-sandwich" sizes, so pricing was also confusing. I order a whole "Rockefeller Reuben". The girl taking my order was hard to hear and it was really loud in there (people, music, kids, etc) and I had to get her to repeat things. Since it's new, she didn't seem to understand the menu that well, either, in my opinion. My husband ordered Coney Dogs, and a giant pickle. I asked her "how much are the black and white cookies?" and she said "I think they ring up at 1.50, but I'm not sure". The black and white cookie cost 2.50. The take out menu also says 1.50 (now that I've seen the menu fully). OK, so I got overcharged by 1.00 for a cookie. My husband's pickle was not included in our takeout order, so that was another 1.00 blown for something. Now, the sandwich was really good. However, I did get "upsold" to something called "Deli Style" from the girl who told me it costs "2.00 more, but you get a lot more meat!" The sandwich did have a lot of meat on it. If I wouldn't have paid the 2.00, I probably would have been disappointed because the amount on the sandwich is what I would have expected for the price BEFORE being upsold. My Rockefeller Reuben cost a total of 13.38 (this was the sandwich only, made "Deli Style") with corned beef. (They also make it with pastrami or turkey). My husband's Coney Dogs were 4.29 a piece (he got 2 of them). Include a pickle that we didn't get and a 2.50 cookie, our bill was $27. My sandwich was big enough for sharing. If you have a large appetite, you may not want to share - it was very tasty. My husband enjoyed his Coney Dogs. They come on something that looks like a hoagie roll, so he had to throw away most of the bread. I will definitely be back, but I'm going to wait until it's not so busy, and I will be prepared for the "sticker shock". Side Note: This is a really great place to have opened in that location because they don't have any good deli-style sandwich places nearby (Publix does not count, because their subs are gross lately). Also, I don't eat at Subway. Jimmy John's disappeared (unfortunately, where did they go? I really liked it). So even though it was a bit expensive and confusing, I'm happy to have a good place to go for Deli sandwiches! Next time, I will be trying the tuna (which looked excellent) and the chocolate mousse cake (also looked great). Good luck to the new owners!

Way too expensive. I purchased the corned beef Reuben and added extra meat. My sandwich turned out to be 14$. That is completely outrageous. The portion size was a joke for what I paid. Will never be back unless it gets cheaper or portions increase. I've been to catz deli and Carnegie hall in NYC. While the sandwich was decent, the price was too much to overlook. You get twice as much for that price in NYC.

Went today for the first time. Got a pastrami sandwich for my friend which was $11.50. He upsized and got the combo for $2.79 more. He asked for mustard on the side, they brought out the sandwich with mustard on it and forgot his side dish. You would think for $13.79, almosr $14 for a sandwich, coleslaw and soda that they could get the order right. Pastrami was dry, very over-priced. I ordered the daily 1/2 sandwich deal which was a tuna sub, side dish and drink for $7.00. Again, they didn't bring me my side dish and the tuna was mediocre. For this kind of money, I think there are much better places to eat.
